Pakistan Declares 'Open War' on Afghanistan: Finally, Someone's Doing Something
Turns out 'strategic depth' means sending the boys in; who knew?

KABUL - Well, well, well. Looks like Pakistan finally grew a pair. After years of hand-wringing about Afghanistan, they've officially declared 'open war' following some kaboom-action in Kabul. Shocked, I tell you. Shocked. After days of what we'll politely call 'disagreements,' someone finally decided diplomacy wasn't cutting it. About time.
For years, the narrative has been 'Pakistan is just misunderstood.' Oh, they totally don't have a soft spot for the Taliban. Sure, the ISI isn't playing 4D chess with the region. And the Durand Line? Just a friendly suggestion, apparently. But hey, maybe this 'open war' thing is their version of 'thoughts and prayers'.
Let's be real, the history between these two is messier than a gender studies conference. We're talking border disputes older than your grandma's conspiracy theories, enough cross-border shenanigans to make James Bond blush, and enough backstabbing to make Machiavelli proud. Claiming this is suddenly a surprise is peak clown world.
Of course, the usual suspects are already wailing about the 'humanitarian impact.' Spare me. Afghanistan's been a humanitarian crisis since, oh, I dunno, forever? Maybe if the previous administration hadn't botched the exit, things wouldn't be in this pickle. But hey, hindsight's 20/20, and the woke left sees nothing clearly.
The UN will clutch its pearls. NGOs will write strongly worded letters. And various alphabet agencies will start dusting off their contingency plans. Meanwhile, the rest of us are just waiting to see if this is a legit throwdown or another round of regional performance art. Place your bets, folks.
The real question is, what took so long? Years of appeasement, endless negotiations, and mountains of foreign aid haven't exactly turned Afghanistan into Switzerland. Maybe a little… kinetic diplomacy is what the doctor ordered. Don't @ me. I'm just asking questions.
It's too early to say what this means long term. Probably nothing good. But at least someone’s acting like they have a pulse in this whole situation. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go buy some popcorn and refresh my Twitter feed.
One thing is for sure: someone is about to find out if their woke ideology stands up against bullets and rockets.
Let's watch, shall we?
