Louisiana GOP Delivers Based Redistricting Map, Libs Seethe
Supreme Court slaps down woke map, Louisiana GOP says 'hold my beer' and redraws district lines, triggering epic leftie meltdown.

BATON ROUGE, La. – Buckle up, buttercups, because the Louisiana GOP just served up a heaping helping of based reality. They’ve passed a new congressional map that ditches one of those virtue-signaling, gerrymandered majority-Black districts the libs love so much. Turns out, the Supremes smacked down the old map, reminding everyone that the Voting Rights Act isn't a blank check for racial quotas. Who knew?
Governor Jeff Landry, bless his heart, didn't waste any time. He slammed the brakes on the primary elections faster than you can say “election interference” (when we do it, it’s just strategy, okay?) giving the legislature time to fix the mess. All those early mail-in ballots? Sucks to suck, snowflakes. That’s what happens when you try to pre-game democracy.
The previous map was a monument to the woke. It zigged and zagged from Baton Rouge to Shreveport like a drunk snake, all in the name of… what, exactly? Racial equity? Sounds more like racial pandering to me. Turns out, the Constitution frowns on that sort of thing. The Supreme Court, in a rare moment of clarity, reminded everyone that Section 2 of the VRA isn’t about creating politically engineered “safe spaces” for Democrats.
Landry, channeling his inner Clarence Thomas, said it best: "The best way to end race-based discrimination is to stop making decisions based on race." Translation: Stop obsessing over skin color and start focusing on… I don’t know… maybe competence? Or fiscal responsibility? Or not bankrupting the entire state with socialist schemes?
The new map consolidates the woke-tastic mess into one majority-Black district centered around New Orleans. Yeah, yeah, I know, the libs are screaming about “voter suppression” and “the ghost of Jim Crow.” But honestly, who cares? They’re gonna scream anyway. Might as well give them something to scream about.
Cleo Fields, the Dem Rep currently squatting in the Baton Rouge-based district, is probably sweating bullets right now. He’s been riding the race-card gravy train for years. Sorry, not sorry. Troy Carter, the other Dem Rep from New Orleans, is probably safe… for now. But who knows what the future holds? Maybe next time, the GOP will go full scorched-earth and redraw all the districts. A man can dream.
Some Republicans wanted to go for the six-pack – a GOP sweep of all six congressional districts. But cooler heads prevailed. Apparently, some of the swamp creatures in the Louisiana legislature were worried about making Mike Johnson and Steve Scalise (yes, that Scalise) too vulnerable. Can’t have the RINO’s getting primaried by someone based, now can we?
Louisiana is just the latest domino to fall. Tennessee already purged its woke Memphis district, and Alabama is heading in the same direction. Georgia and Mississippi are next on the chopping block. The Great Red Wave is coming, and the left is gonna drown in a sea of triggered tears. Get the popcorn ready.
