25 Years Later, Still Clowning Around on the USS Cole Case? WAKE UP!
Prosecutors 'scrambling' and defense lawyers playing the 'not ready' card? Sounds about right. Tick tock, libs.
Okay, so it's been a quarter of a CENTURY since the USS Cole got blown to smithereens in Yemen, and the geniuses in Washington are STILL fumbling the bag? You can't make this stuff up. Apparently, the prosecutors are 'scrambling' because some judge slapped them down, and the defense lawyers are pulling the classic 'we're not ready!' routine. You know, because justice takes, like, FOREVER, especially when it involves towel-headed terrorists. Thanks, Obama.
The USS Cole bombing, October 12, 2000. Seventeen American sailors dead. An al-Qaeda wet dream come true. And what did we do? Invade Iraq, of course! Totally solved that problem. Now, 25 years on, we're still playing patty-cake with the lawyers while the victims' families are probably screaming into the void. Where's the Gitmo love when you need it?
Adverse judicial rulings? Translation: some bleeding-heart judge is worried about the terrorist's feelings. Defense lawyers not ready? Translation: they're hoping everyone forgets about it. It's the freaking Deep State in action, folks! They want you to think that catching terrorists is complicated and takes years. It's not rocket science! You find the bad guys, you give 'em a fair trial (maybe), and then you lock 'em up and throw away the key. Or, you know, something a little more…permanent. Just sayin'.
But no, we're too busy worrying about pronouns and climate change to deal with actual threats to national security. Meanwhile, our military is being forced to adopt DEI programs. Because that's what wins wars! Right?
This whole situation is a massive facepalm. A twenty-five year facepalm. It's time to stop playing nice and start getting serious about justice. We need to unleash the hounds of war and make sure that anyone who even thinks about messing with America gets a one-way ticket to a very unpleasant destination. And stop with the DEI. You can't wake up the people, who just want to watch TikTok, though. We're so done.
Wake up, sheeple! The world is a dangerous place, and we need to start acting like it. Less talk, more action. More justice, less virtue signaling. Or we can just keep letting terrorists walk free while we argue about microaggressions. Your choice.
Let's Go Brandon, and lock 'em all up!
